The FSC 2019 Membership Assembly is held in Lugo

The FSC Spain Annual Membership Assembly was celebrated for the second time in Galicia and for the first time in Lugo.

The Annual Assembly (2019) of FSC Spain was held at the Higher Polytechnic Engineering School on June 13. By doing so, the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) supported Galicia’s effort to improve the quality of its forests by joining the internationally recognised forest certification system.

An open day about forest certification was held on the previous day, during which several initiatives regarding FSC-certificated forest were presented and several technical visits were made. The open day was organised with the collaboration UXAFORES as one of their members, Alberto Rojo, forms part of the Management Board of FSC Spain.
